Essay on the Crucible Writing About Abigails Obsession With John Proctor

Essay on the Crucible Writing About Abigails Obsession With John ProctorAn Essay on the Crucible Writing About Abigail. Some of the most famous characters in literature, including Anne Bradstreet and Edgar Allan Poe, have been based on real people, including this one. While fiction has been the usual source for literary work, this piece is not fiction and is intended to examine a strong character, John Proctor, in the light of his writing history. If John Proctor was indeed obsessed with John Proctor, he did not show it. In fact, it was rather amiable. This is not to say that John Proctor did not have his faults, or that he was without character flaws. Of course he did. However, we must remember that the Englishman had many people who loved him and would do anything to keep him happy, and who were willing to endure his flaws to support him.In many ways, John Proctor appears to be the opposite of William Shakespeare, and very much a work of originality. He is undoubtedly the primary au thor of this play. In addition, he spent most of his life confined to a small cage where there was little to do except read and write. The story of how he became co-author of this play, and of how the two men met at the bottom of a well, is fascinating. John Proctor was forced into the role of 'master' at the bottom of the well. He was convicted of blasphemy against a king, who in turn banished him to a dungeon below his castle. The other side of the story, of course, is that he created the most interesting play ever written about his ordeal in that dungeon. The passion between John Proctor and his wife Margaret, though, is what stands out in the eyes of readers. It is one of the most powerful and amusing love stories ever written. When John Proctor was first confined in the well, he was so pitied that he refused to write letters to Margaret, since she had left him. Then one day, after he was returned to the jail, the two lovers were reunited. The play centers on the passionate romance between John Proctor and Margaret Proctor. It is not all about the crimes of John Proctor, but also about his relationship with his wife. She is his ultimate expression of affection, and they are as deeply in love as they were in prison. There is a wonderful parallel between their union, and their creation of 'Hamlet' as well.John Proctor also spent much of his life in exile, exiled from the world. He was an almost unknown figure at the time he wrote 'Hamlet'. As we read about John Proctor's life in 'Hamlet', we see how he struggled to assimilate himself to his new surroundings. Of course he must also face his past in order to learn the lessons that he must learn. So, yes, John Proctor may indeed be a creative genius, but it was not through his writing alone that he achieved his greatness. He must also learn to live with the people and events of his life and the love of his wife, Margaret Proctor.
